Alexis Pendergraft is an Associate Attorney at Hatch Rockers Immigration in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she practices immigration law.
Alexis graduated from UNC School of Law in 2021. While in law school, she represented people seeking asylum and facing other immigration issues through the UNC Immigration Clinic and Forced Migration class. Additionally, she was a legal intern for USCRI and Al Otro Lado to support people in removal proceedings, she was the President of the Death Penalty Project to work with the CDPL, and she was a research assistant for Professor Deborah M. Weissman to help her work in gender violence law.
Prior to law school, Alexis worked at the South Carolina Appleseed Legal Justice Center in Columbia, South Carolina and with Malekpour & Ball Trial Consulting Firm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2017 with a degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice and played collegiate soccer for the school.
Alexis claims both Raleigh and Chapel Hill, North Carolina as her home. She spends her free time supporting the Tar Heels with her family and coaching youth soccer for NCFC.
